Frequently asked questions
These FAQs summarise common procurement and delivery questions. They do not replace your signed agreement, and they are not legal advice. For policy text, follow the links to Privacy, Terms, Cookies, Disclaimer, and Refunds.
Legal, privacy, and policies
- Are your Privacy policy, Terms, and Cookie policy legally binding?
- They are published to explain how we operate the Site and baseline commercial expectations. Binding obligations for paid work come from your signed contracts. Treat these pages as transparency documents reviewed periodically—not a substitute for your counsel’s review if you need an exhaustive compliance position.
- How do you handle data under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP)?
- We aim to align collection, use, retention, and rights processes with DPDP principles and guidance as implemented in our operating context. Exact legal obligations depend on the role we play (controller vs processor), the type of data, and your contract. See the Privacy policy and raise procurement questions early if you need a DPA or subprocessor list.
- Do you sign Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)?
- For enterprise clients and certain regulated contexts, yes—where the scope involves processing personal data on your documented instructions. The DPA should attach to your MSA/SOW and reference technical and organisational measures, subprocessors, and breach notification paths.
- Where are disputes resolved?
- For Site-only matters, our Terms of use specify Indian law and Hyderabad jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer rules require otherwise. For Services, your contract may specify a different forum or arbitration—read the governing agreement carefully.
Commercial engagement, contracts, and NDAs
- Do you sign NDAs before sharing a brief?
- Yes, where needed. We can work under mutual NDAs or your paper. Early discovery can also be bounded by a short written scope so both sides stay clear on what is confidential and what is not.
- What paperwork do you typically use?
- Most engagements use a written quote or proposal, a Statement of Work (SOW) or order form, and—where appropriate—an MSA covering IP, confidentiality, liability caps, insurance expectations, and change control. The combination should match your procurement rules.
- Do you work white-label for agencies?
- Yes, when the model fits. Expect clear handoff artefacts, brand boundaries, client communication rules, and written ownership of deliverables. Review the white-label agency delivery service pillar in the Services directory, then use the Contact page to describe your partner workflow.
- Who owns the code and designs after payment?
- Ownership and licence grants are defined in your contract. A common pattern is: you own paid custom deliverables subject to third-party/open-source licences we disclose; we may retain a limited portfolio licence only where you approve in writing.
Delivery, timelines, and support
- How long has Moosi Web been operating?
- We publish 14 years of delivery experience as a studio baseline. Project timelines are always agreed per scope and are stated in writing before build starts where possible.
- What is your typical engagement model?
- We usually work in phased milestones: discovery, design sign-off, build, QA/UAT, launch, and stabilisation. Larger programmes may split across releases. Exact roles, meeting cadence, and acceptance criteria belong in the SOW.
- Do you provide maintenance after launch?
- We can propose a maintenance retainer (updates, monitoring, backups, security patches) or hand off to your internal team with documentation. If you need 24/7 operations, say so during procurement so staffing and SLAs are realistic.
- What if we delay approvals or content?
- Delivery dates slip when inputs slip. Contracts typically allow re-sequencing work and may invoice for standing time or milestones as defined. The Refund policy discusses delay patterns at a high level.
Stacks, hosting, and security
- Is WordPress the only CMS you support?
- No. WordPress is common for marketing sites, but we also work with Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, and hybrid or headless setups when justified by budget, integrations, and long-term maintainability.
- Who hosts the site or application?
- Hosting can sit with you, with us as a managed layer, or with a third-party cloud provider you designate. Hosting choice affects security responsibilities, backups, SSL renewal, and incident response—document it in the SOW.
- Do you guarantee zero security vulnerabilities?
- No responsible firm guarantees that. We follow reasonable secure development and deployment practices for the agreed stack, and we recommend ongoing patching and monitoring. Penetration testing and formal certifications are separate scopes unless contracted.
SEO, content, and results
- Do you guarantee search engine rankings?
- No. We can ship durable technical SEO, information architecture, performance improvements, and helpful content, but rankings depend on competition, backlinks, brand demand, and platform algorithms. See our Disclaimer for reliance limits.
- Will you use AI to write our website copy?
- Only with a defined editorial process you approve. AI drafts can speed exploration, but published business copy should be fact-checked against your products, compliance constraints, and brand voice.
Billing, refunds, and cancellations
- Can I get a refund after work has started?
- B2B services are usually milestone-based. Amounts for completed, accepted work are generally non-refundable. Goodwill credits or partial refunds—if any—depend on your contract and the facts. Read the Refund policy and your SOW.
- How do we dispute an invoice?
- Email your project lead with finance on copy, cite line items and dates, and propose a resolution path. Avoid chargebacks without notice where possible—we prefer to fix genuine billing errors quickly.
- Are your fees inclusive of GST?
- Unless explicitly stated otherwise, quotes are commonly exclusive of GST, which we add per applicable Indian tax rules and the treatment agreed in your contract.
Getting started
- How do we start a conversation?
- Use the Contact page with goals, audience, must-have features, timeline, and approvers. We usually reply with clarifying questions before proposing a phased plan. You can also call or email info@moosiweb.com if that is faster for your team.
- Do you work only in Hyderabad?
- Our studio is in Hyderabad, Telangana. We work with clients across India and internationally using email, calls, and structured written milestones. Local meetings may be available by arrangement.
Still unsure? Contact Moosi Web with your procurement checklist—we will map answers to contract clauses where helpful.
